Reduce the amount of resources when using just a searchbox on the webpage

the payload of Coveo for Sitecore is quite large, (I believe 1.44 MB?). When only using a simple searchbox on the homepage (not talking about the resultspage) this is really way to much to deliver a fast and responsive site. Please add a control/rendering which only adds the minimum amount of resources to make use of the searchbox, so that we can deliver a fast and response landing page

are you using the CoveoSearchBoxRessources component or the CoveoSearchRessources component?

The CoveoSearchBoxRessources are the minimum to render a simple searchbox.

If you want a simple searchbox, using the CoveoSearchBoxRessources will reduce the load (it includes only CoveoJsSearch_Searchbox.min.js and a css file). Of course, if you do so, you will not be able to us the omniboxResultList component, but you will still have access to Analytics suggestions and Reveal features (C4SC v4 only).

The CoveoSearchBoxRessources component is indeed better than the CoveoSearchRessources for this purpose, but still it's including too much ressources. This has been added to our stack, you'll get an update when it's completed and released here.

Coveo for Sitecore 4.1 (September 2017) will use the new Coveo JavaScript UI 2.0 which uses lazy loading for JS and CSS resources. This will decrease the weight of the component on the page.
